This Season we have decided to offer a competition to all gardeners in the Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray areas. We know you love your garden and thought that this would hopefully encourage others to get out in their gardens and make the most of the summer!

The local press will be covering the competition throughout the season so competition is expected to be high!

The competition is open to all and the awards are as follows:

1. Most improved garden .... Simple just take a photo of your garden as it is on or before the 20th of May 2008 and send it to us here at the nursery either via email or snail mail or by hand before the close of business on Wednesday 21st May. Then take another photo before the 1st of August showing the garden from the same angle... see we said it was easy! Please remember to include your name address and phone number along with a discription of your plans for the changes as the best five photos will be visited by ourselves and the local press to judge the overall winner. The winner gets a £25 Voucher for any plants here at the nursery and the five runners up will get a 10% discount on any plants!
2. Best Garden ....  The rule for this is simply any normal garden, plot or patio! Again the same idea just take one photo before the 20th May and another anytime before the 1st of August and include a general discription. The winner receives a £50 Voucher for any plants here at the nursery and the five runners up will get a 10% discount on any plants!

The final judging will be decided on 9th and 10th August and the winners and runners up will be announced in the local press and awards presented the weekend of the 16th August 2008.

Please remember to state which category you are applying for and we will acknowledge all entries via email or phone on the 21st May [any entries not notified will have a final chance to provide the photo on the 22nd May by Midday but these will need to be brought by hand to the nursery!]

We hope to display your photos here for each of the categories along with a voter’s poll towards the end of June and the local press will be running the competition and displaying your entries throughout the season!
